the first clear satellite picture of the eruption site...



the picture is MODIS from a NASA satellite with a pixel resolution of 250m, red insert show the eruption site and the black ash spread around...

my own trip t the volcanoe...




I put some more photos on my pictures!

we only got to a distance of 17 km from the eruption site on wednesday, but got some fairly good pictures of what is happening. a lot of people are acting like this is nothing dangerous, but when you come to a distance of onlye a few hundred metres, then it could become very dangerous...
