yeasterday i was so lucky to be able to fly in a small plane over the eruption site at Eyjafjallajøkull. Eyglo at my office had a friend who had some extra space in a plane, so Eyglo and i went out flying. the weather was mostly calm, except a bit bumpy over the mountains, so i managed to get ari sick, though with out using the air sickness bag...
i got a lot of photos, but due to bright light (too much day light) photographing was difficult. we even had time to fly one pass over my glacier. it was great to get some new photos of my glacier, before i have to hand in my thesis;0)
